The earliest evidence of wine dates to Georgia in 6000 BCE. That’s more than 8000 years ago! 

Since then, wine has enormously evolved to become the flavoursome grape juice that we all know and love today.

However, whilst wine has evolved, one essential aspect remains: wine is to be shared. 

Sharing good wine is the heart of Earth’s Wine & Co. Earth’s Wine & Co wishes to share with its community a well-balanced, enjoyable and refined experience. Consider us your new eccentric friend encouraging you to experience new flavours, feel new sensations, and to let yourself sail through the new world of wine.

Our purpose is to curate small organic and/or biodynamic vineyards and present the wines and their winemakers not just as sellers, but as people. Because without those passionate, hardworking men and women, there would be no wine. That’s why it’s important for us to share with you the story behind each and every bottle.

Earth’s Wine & Co really wants to be an important actor in the environmental cause. As individuals, we know we’re all already making an effort, but as a company we believe there is more we can (and should) do. Rome wasn’t built in one day, neither was Earth’s Wine & Co, but step by step and with your help, we are sure that we can do it!

Our first step, will be working with winemakers supporting Organic and Biodynamic agriculture. 

Organic winemakers exclude the use of pesticides, herbicides, and artificial chemical fertilizers on their vineyard (Leaving only the best, most natural bits). Biodynamic winemakers not only use organic methods (as describe above), but also use natural soil supplements and seasonal planting calendars, following and focusing on astrological configurations and treating the earth as a living organism.
 
If you’re wondering about the person behind Earth’s Wine & Co, please meet our founder, Damien. 

Damien is from Brussels, Belgium. 
He moved to Australia last year (in 2021) with his partner and quickly decided to drop his 9 to 5 job as an expert accountant/financial adviser, and instead share his passion for good wine, good food and good company.

Damien found his passion for Oenology in his early twenties, and since then has continued to study, develop his knowledge and, develop his taste buds. 

Damien’s wish is simple: bring people together to share new experiences, and new wines of course.
